The SMERT lab at night β€” open 24 hours with Hong Kong skyline view

    Your hours, your call.

There is no fixed timetable. You book your own lab sessions β€” anytime. The lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and every step is guided by the SMERT AI copilot with round-the-clock AI support. The 20 hours a week flex around your job or your studies.

    On the hardware

Program Huayan E15 Pro arms and the HY7 humanoid. Calibrate RealSense depth cameras, mount DH Robotics grippers, wire safety circuits. Your hands, our machines.

    With AI as your pair

Use LLM agents the way SMERT engineers actually do: natural-language robot control, vision pipelines, digital-twin simulation, voice workflows β€” plus security (SOC 2) and commercial labs woven in.

    Built for real life

12 weeks, lab slots any time of day or night β€” you pick. Remote-friendly coding block. Missed a session? Catch up on the twin before the next lab day.

    Where this takes you

Robotics skills are in demand across APAC.

Integrators report long vacancies for engineers who can commission a cobot cell end-to-end. This programme is designed to build those skills β€” outcomes depend on your effort and the market.

    Robotics Integration Engineer

    Market range: HK$35k–65k / month

System integrators across APAC are short of engineers who can commission cobot cells end-to-end.

    AI Application Specialist

    Market range: HK$40k–80k / month

Companies need people who can wire LLM agents and computer vision into physical operations.

    Field Service & Commissioning Lead

    Market range: HK$30k–55k / month

Every installed cell needs calibration, maintenance and upgrades β€” recurring, defensible work.

    Legal & Regulatory Notice

How the Robotics & AI Intensive sits within Hong Kong law

    1. Education Ordinance (Cap. 279) β€” this is not a registered school. Under the Education Ordinance, a β€œschool” is an institution, organisation or establishment that provides an educational course to 20 or more persons during any one day, or 8 or more persons at any one time, and such an institution must be registered with the Permanent Secretary for Education before it operates. The Robotics & AI Intensive is deliberately capped at 5 participants per cohort, which is below both thresholds. It is therefore private, in-house industry training delivered at our own R&D lab β€” not a registered school β€” and no Education Bureau school registration is required. The seat cap is a compliance commitment, not a marketing figure: we do not exceed it.

    2. Non-local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance (Cap. 493) β€” no academic award. Cap. 493 regulates courses leading to a non-local academic award or professional qualification. This programme leads to neither. Participants who complete the programme receive a SMERT certificate of completion only. It is not a degree, diploma, academic credit, accredited qualification, professional licence or any award recognised under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework, and it does not confer student status.

    3. Trade Descriptions Ordinance (Cap. 362) β€” outcomes are not guaranteed. Any reference on this page to careers, hiring, salaries, funding schemes, project results or business outcomes is illustrative and based on past or expected experience. It is not a promise, guarantee or offer of employment, income, government funding or commercial results. Eligibility for any government scheme is determined solely by the relevant Hong Kong authority.

    4. Contracting entity and fees. The programme is provided by SMERT.AI Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong, at 14/F Foo Hoo Centre, 3 Austin Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Tuition, deposits, payment schedules, cancellation and refund handling are governed by the enrolment agreement issued on acceptance, which prevails over anything stated on this page.

This notice is a plain-language summary of our regulatory position for transparency. It is not legal advice. Last reviewed: 31 August 2026. Questions: hello@smertai.com.
